Website price updates are not real time, they are periodic.

It was attempted many years ago to make them real time, the resources required were prohibitive and therefore the cost of the service would have needed to rise considerably just to provide this.

As a compromise the Gixen Desktop Manager was developed for Windows based systems, which uses your own resources to retrieve price information direct from Ebay, for those that rely on it.

Personally, price updates are not significant to me, since I do my research up front and if the price rises above where my bid would be accepted the most likely result is just that I'm going to delete the snipe entirely.

While bids continue to accumulate on eBay's website for item# 135265438922, those are not reflected in My Snipes.
