Gixen obtains this time from eBay. Gixen itself is not using the same interface as you do. eBay used to show this information to end users as well, not sure why it doesn't any longer. |

that actually depends on how and when you look at a listing

Yes, and so are auction start times, so using that and the duration of the auction gives you the exact ending time. |

New Gixer here, love it, just something I'm curious about. I notice that ebay's auction ending times are shown to the nearest minute, such as 8:07AM PDT, whereas bid times are shown to the second, such as 8:06:53AM (which was one of my snipes.) A different example is an auction shown ending at 12:01PM, and my snipe was placed at 12:01:49. Since Gixen bids are placed to the second, how does Gixen know what the actual ebay ending time is, to the second? Thanks. |
