Yes, as Steve says, Gixen doesn't ever have access to your Ebay password, and hence never uses it.
However, if you change it on their site they also revoke the authorisation that Gixen has to place bids on your behalf, you can renew that using the instructions on this blog post:

| You don't update ebay pw, Gixen is not using it, instead you re-authorize from the Gixen settings page. |
