Your ebay authorization has expired.

eBay requires that you renew the authorization every 18 months or whenever you change your ebay password or username. This is free of charge. I was unable to place my bid and got the message “Missing access token” after the auction ended. (eBay #266393725880).
I am unsure what this message means and would like to understand what I did wrong. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
