I already explained in a previous post - login IS secure - what matters is the target page, not the login page. When you click on "Log in Now" your username and password are sent to a secure page, and you will see a padlock symbol then.

If this will make you feel better you can go to https://www.gixen.com/ and then you will see the padlock symbol right away, but there is no real difference between the two, your info is always sent using SSL no matter what, and from which page you log in.

HI Mario, it says you use SSL to encrypt ebay user IDs but when I was logging in, I do not see a padlock symbol. I'm concerned with this as there's a high security risk with the many hackers on the web. Please advise. thanks!! :)
