whizzer, your auction also failed due to problems experienced at the time. This issue was caused by a faulty ebay SSL certificate, and has been resolved in the meantime.

Post subject: I was another missed snipe
I set up the snipe about 4 hours before auction end, and my max bid was much higher than the final auction end. No evidence that gixen ever placed a bid for me.

You are :(. There haven't been any failures in the past month or so, not even that 1 of 500, and then tonight Gixen missed 20-30 snipes due to issue that's being investigated. It happens, and I'm sorry about your lost auction.
Please read my previous post.

Post subject: First-time user: Gixen did not snipe!
Hi,
I wanted to buy items on ebay, that finished today while I was in a meeting. I'm used to sniping manually, but since I wouldn't be in front of my computer just before the end of the auction, I looked for snipe services on the web. This is where I only read great things about Gixen.
I placed a snipe, but to my surprise, at the end of my meeting, I checked ebay, and the auction had ended with 0 bid, and my snipe hadn't worked!
Very frustrating. Had I bid 2hrs before the end (before my meeting) I would have won the item at starting price...
I thought I read Gixen failed "once in 500 times"? Am I just unlucky to be the 1 failure for the 1st time I use this service?
