Post subject: Reserve Not Met/ Reserve Amount
Hello,
I have seen bids that require a minimum amount called a reserve amount. Usually you only see “reserve not met” once an item has been bid on and was not sold.
The reserve amount is usually buried on the page and hard to find. Most often not found and time bidding is being wasted trying to get an item that you will never get unless you are aware of the reserve amount.
Currently, EBay Item #196727543810 has this issue. Here under the description, the Reserve at $39. At time of writing this, 1 bid is outstanding at $0.99. This item keeps getting relisted because the bidder is not aware of the reserved amount and thinking they can get this item for 99 cents.
So, if Gixen could indicate that there is a reserve amount when an user is setting up their item to bid on, would be a nice added feature to include that would be very helpful.
