But in this case, I'm thankful for not being "held hostage" by committing to pay if I won via normal bidding. <br /> <br />The item still has one day left. Normally, I also manually bid in the last minute (lower than my "finale" Gixen bid) just to be extra sure. <br /> <br />If I still had to gamble whether I will end up paying the bid, I might have not bought the better deal that just showed up. <br /> <br />I also feel happy for the guy who had one less bidding competitor.
