I am a little confused about the screen. I put in two bids for #280376687379 and #260453854534...and screen states bids are both at $9.99...not my bids but present bids...Well that's wrong...I don't get it. Does the screen reflect real time bidding?... And is there a guide somewhere on bidding? My other service had real time bid changes so you could observe what other bidders are doing. Is my screen not working? I would appreciate some help...thanks
When you say "track", the answer is none
I understand that. I was wondering what OP has to answer.

If you absolutely need something like that, desktop based solutions such as jbidwatcher are probably the best.
I'm not interested in the bidding wars.

When you say "track", the answer is none - as ebay does not have a service that would push price updates in real time. Gixen used to fetch the latest price whenever you refresh your screen, but with the present volume, this is too expensive.
If you absolutely need something like that, desktop based solutions such as jbidwatcher are probably the best.

No, Gixen does not update the current bid in real time: it updates it as a batch job every 3 hours or so (or something like that - Mario can provide the exact details if you need them). If you need to keep track of the bidding in real time, the best way is to put the item in your eBay watch list and track it from there. If you've done your homework and figured out what your maximum bid is, there should be no need to watch the bidding anyway.
