Post subject: eBay bid increments rules
I was surprised when I lost an item today because of
eBay bid increments rules
.
I had bid $107.55 on an item but lost to a bid of $106.50. Evidently when the price went over $100 the bid increment went from $1.00 to $2.50 causing me to lose even though my bid was $1.05 more than the high bid.
I would like to see an option for Gixen members to pre-authorize an automatic increase in their bid to compensate for the current bid increment.
It might be a good incentive for people to become members instead of free users
