This hasn't applied to Gixen for quite some time now. Gixen does not have access to your password at all.
It can only act on your behalf because you have provided Authorisation for Gixen to do so, which you can revoke at any time, either here on Gixen, in the second section of the Settings page, or on Ebay itself.
So, I very much doubt that makes any difference to the service provided by Gixen.
