Here is the important part - the eBay session id is generated when you open a settings page. If you wait longer than 5 minutes after opening it before you click on the re-authorize link, it will expire.
I will think about how to improve this - but in the meantime just refresh the settings page before clicking on re-authorize link.

Hi All, no word from Mario yet but I think I've managed to fix this by logging into the mobile site on my phone and then re-authorising my ebay account from there.
I had to do it twice as the first time Gixen still said it was expired / expiring soon but after the second time that new error message went away too.

How many times did you 'try again' ?
Is MrKot your Gixen id (and not your Ebay id) ?

Hi, I've received the following error when I try to login -
"eBay authorisation token status: could not obtain, please try again.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/gixen/home_main_1.phg:599) in usr/local/apache2/htdocs/gixen/home_main_1.php on line 702

It then redirects to a page that simply reads "Error occurred. Please try again."
Thanks,
