Gixen doesn't do any currency conversion, it is interesting that you think that it might be, what is it that gives you that impression, because if there is anything that would indicate there being a defect in the Gixen software ? Gixen only accepts and bids in the currency of the auction, if you wan to work out what that means in your own currency that is up to you to work out.
Post subject: Currency conversions: Euros, Canadian, etc.
At present Gixen appears to only recognize a bid number as US currency.
When the E-Bay listing is in Euros, this creates confusion. If a "buy now" price is listed as $100 Euros, a US bidder can only bid $99.99 US, and so could be outbid. By Euro conversion, the "buy now" would actually be about $114 US.
I would like the maximum bid listing to recognize "EUR" and other suffixes as representing specific non-US currencies.
If this feature already exists, I could no find it.
Thank you.
