I think that these are covered quite well on the 'FAQ' page (see the tab above) and to a lesser extent on the 'Why Snipe?' tab.
Can I ask you to read those pages and then let us know what is still not clear, that way we might be able to improve the FAQ page to the extent that these questions get asked less often ?
If you don't have the time to read that, the short answer is 'No' (first option, so as implied, 'Yes' to the second option) and 'No' just enter your max as the snipe value on Gixen.

Post subject: My max bid as the only bid.
If my max bid is the only bid would I pay that amount or the minimum starting bid? Should I enter the minimum starting 1st on eBay and then my max on Gixen?
