It would seem to me that the implementation of this would be easy and that it would not use any extra resources on the server. It would, however, take up system administrator time: a resource that Mario tells me is quite scarce. :)

Can you use alternate colouring on the list of auctions if not a bold seperating line between them. I find it hard at a glance to work out which pair of table rows go with which. Also might be nice if you could sort by group then auction close time.
I have used in the past Auction Sniper (snipestation) which is also completely free. Their colouring and clarity I would say is a bit better but their system simply wasn't working correctly with auctions showing as ended before they had and such, that's why I ended up looking for another and found Gixen. Still from a presentation point of view they had something good, you've mastered the technical side which is far more challenging so spend 5 minutes on some presentation stuff :wink:
