Nevermind. It appears I wasn't getting logged in to begin with. I am guessing it was because I was using special characters in my password. I changed my password and it worked fine. I had 8 snipes in. :) Thanks for the service.

Hello,
I just found your site tonight. I try to enter a snipe and I get the same message as above. It says it's invalid item # or money format. I am using IE and Mozilla in English. Inputting the bid as 7.51. Tried copying and pasting the item # and manually typing it too. I am baffled.

Great - so now it's idiot-proof, i.e. I won't make that mistake again... Thanks for the great support. |

Seeing how many people stumbled upon this, I just made a slight change in order to trim extra characters that cause problems... It should be better now, silly characters are filtered out.

Had the same, found out it's when I select the item # on the eBay page, if you go too far past the # in selecting the # to cut & paste, "something else" gets selected with it; you can still paste it in gixen, do the rest, but then it does not add the item. Once you know, it's easy to avoid. |

Hey fieldbike - thanks for the tip! Works perfectly as long as I type the article numbers in by hand or paste them into a text editor first, then remark & copy them again from there.
(Sometimes (but not always?) there seems to be an invisible tab character (or some binary char?) after the number that comes along with it when you copy it from the ebay page.)
No big deal once you know the trick! :-) |

Have now added them successfully. Iam using FireFox 1.07 in English.
I think the problem may have been copy and pasting the numbers directly from ebay - possibly there was another hidden formatting code in with them? Re-entered them manually this time.
Thanks |

I can't replicate the problem.
What browser are you using? What input language? |

I was able to add both. I suspect money format you are using is not right. Commas are not allowed, so amount should be something like:
1.45
234.23
11345.98
and so on. |

No, reason must be something else.
Maybe it's a 'Buy it Now' item? Or you didn't enter the amount properly?
Can you email me with the item number and I'll take a look? |

Hi,
After successfully entering 2 snipe orders for one group, every time I try to enter any more snipes (either for that same group or for a new one), I only get an error message "Could not add this item." instead of adding it to the list. :(
(Maybe there was a server outage exactly at that moment??)
Thanks! |
