Yes. the winner did place a bid that was identical to the OP's... However, if you look at the bidding, they also placed 3 later bids that were not outbid... Those are the ones that I am talking about that must have been greater than 210.

Mark, I believe the maximum bid was identical, otherwise the high bid would have jumped to 210 + increment.

Not only were there bids placed before yours, they must also have entered bids that were higher than 210, otherwise they would not have been accepted by ebay, since they are at different times... you will never know how much the winner was actually prepared to pay.

You had an identical bid (210), yet the winning bidder's bid was there before yours.

Item sold for $210. My highest bid was $210 yet eBay indicates i was outbid by another buyer who also bid $210 (4 times?). How can this be? :(
