On ebay.co.uk you'll see the current price including the buyers' premium/protection fee on the auction page, but if you look at the bids page you'll see the price excluding it. That means for an auction with an opening price, but without any bids that price will be the same, however when the first bid is placed (and for all subsequent bids) the auction page has a higher figure than the bids page.
On these pages if you replace '.co.uk' with '.com' in the address bar of your browser you'll find the auction price is always the same on the auction page as on the bids page.
As far as I have been able to tell with examples so far, Gixen is supplied with the value displayed on the bids page, which is consistent between sites, and does not include the extra fee. |
