The email address that is associated with your Gixen account is set via the 'Notification' section of the Settings page. It's yet another feature that you can mix up in any way you like, you don't have to use the email address that is associated with the Ebay account you have granted an Ebay authorisation to.

Once again, Mirror subscriptions are associated with Gixen accounts. They are not associated with Ebay accounts and not with email addresses either, those are features that you control independently within each Gixen account.

Ebay accounts don't access Gixen accounts. To function each Gixen account requires a single authorisation granted by Ebay, so that it can place snipe bids on the Ebay sites.

Each Gixen account can have only one authorisation at any one time and that can be associated with any Ebay account that you control and can therefore grant an Ebay authorization for.

You can't authorise multiple Ebay accounts to a single Gixen account... just one at a time.

You can, of course, schedule snipes to bid on auctions that are from different Ebay accounts that are not yours.. so you can buy from as many different people as you like, using a single Ebay account, and a single Gixen account.

There's no problem with most things, but up until now what I've been talking about specifically there not being a problem with is bidding on different auctions using different Gixen accounts... what there might be a problem with is scheduling snipes on the same auction with different Gixen accounts that are authorised to bid on different Ebay accounts... because then you would be bidding against yourself.

It's easy to spot whether you have a Mirror subscription, or not, on a Gixen account.

If it has one you get logged into the account immediately and end up on the 'My Snipes' page, if it does not have one there's a 60 second countdown before you can push the button to access the 'My Snipes' page.

No, that wording is correct, it's an authorisation granted by Ebay to Gixen. It's used by Gixen to be able to access your Ebay account.

Just because it's granted to Gixen doesn't make it something Gixen has any real control over, it just uses it in order to place snipe bids on Ebay for you... and maybe look up items in your watch list if you use the 'IMPORT WL' feature.
