Are you absolutely sure about this ?...

It is very hard to believe that Gixen received confirmation from Ebay of that bid having been placed (which is the only way that you could have been sent that email) and yet Ebay doesn't display the bid on their site... However, Ebay still indicates that an account with 4 feedbacks did submit a bid 5 seconds before the auction end that won the auction at the exact price that Gixen says it did.

Are you sure you have logged into the Ebay account that Gixen is authorised to bid on for you in order to check this ?
