The FAQ states snipes will happen about 5 seconds before the auction ends. This was always my previous experience with Gixen as well. This time my bid was placed inexplicably a full 15 minutes before the auction ended... after several counter bids while I was at work, I lost the item.

Very disappointed.

What went wrong this time around with Gixen?? Giving another party a full fifteen minutes to respond to your bid obviously defeats the point of sniping an item. |

Interesting, is it your claim that Gixen placed both the bids at 21 Aug 2017 at 2:25:03AM BST of US $18.00 and at 21 Aug 2017 at 2:25:16AM BST of US $20.00 ?

There is only one other bid to those, 6 seconds before the auction ended, isn't there ?

Where are you seeing | Quote: | | several counter bids | ?

What status has Gixen given the snipe now that the auction has finished _________________ Mark |

Yes, please tell us more. All we can see are three bids from two bidders, which is not consistent with your description. _________________ John
