|
|
Hello Everyone,
When I set a bid amount, does GIXEN bid UP TO the amount I provide at the offset or does it bid the amount I input?
For example, let's say I want to bid $10.00 for an item, and the current bid is $8.00, will GIXEN bid the minimum upbid of $8.50? OR will it bid $10.00?
I hope my explanation was clear.
Thanks for your help.

Gixen simply places your bid at the amount you specified.
Remember that eBay adjusts the price the winning bidder pays to be the amount of the 2nd-highest bid (plus a small bid increment). This means you will never pay more than the next highest bid, no matter how large your actual bid is. Thus, the best way to bid on eBay is to place your bid at the highest amount you would be willing to pay and let eBay's system do the rest. |
