Same here, tried to edit existing item, then tried to add a new item #222247918638, same result
I then tried the desktop manager and that says my account is suspended ???
What on earth is going on, why has my account been suspended ? |

*sandra_b*,
Are you still able to log in here via the web interface?...
If not what is the error message that you receive when you try? _________________ Mark |

No I get this
Your account has been suspended for the following reason: Too many failed login attempts (5).
The suspension will automatically be lifted after one hour. Please verify your password on eBay first before trying again. |

*sandra_b*,
I would recommend that after the suspension is automatically lifted (as it says, after 1 hour) that you don't run the Desktop Manager, but try to log in here again.
Is it possible that you saved your credentials in the GDM and have since altered them?
N.B. I split this off from the thread it was previously in as others are monitoring that thread specifically for the other issue, and yours is now a divergence from that. _________________ Mark |

That's possible as I was forced to change it the last time Gixen went wrong.
But that doesn't explain why I can't edit or add anything, as I had not tried GDM until after I had the issues ? |

The other issue is unrelated to the one you now have with your login and is under investigation, as reported on the other thread.
In order to use the GDM again you will need to get rid of those saved credentials, that will be what causes this suspension... They are stored in a file called gixen.ini which will be in the location that the Desktop Manager is run from. I suggest that you find and delete that file before you try running the GDM again. _________________ Mark |
