|

And this happened when I already lost all the hope.
Apparently Google started penalizing their own ads. Gixen used to have an Adsense "skyscraper" on the home page. Once I removed this several days ago, and the page got re-indexed, Gixen propped up on search results to the same positions it had before the penalty.
So if you use Adsense on your own web site beware; This may lower your pagerank. Now whether this is an explicit penalty, or only a pagerank "leak" (due to external links) I don't know, but the result is the same.
So no more ads on Gixen home page. |

adsense are made out of javascript only and some people are still saying that webcrawlers do not follow js..
I saw a different results on different websites regarding placing adsense on the front page or removing it. I think it was some other accident which moved your site to another place (like other site got better links recently etc), but we will never know for sure. |
