Joined gixen about a month ago, became a mirror subscriber right away and have been quite pleased with gixen... here are some of my wish list items / suggestions:

1) Batch addition/modification of items - many times a seller lists many of the same items, and adding it one by one is a little cumbersome (especially if the network is slow). It would be nice to input say upto 10 ebay ids, bid prices for them etc and hit ONE update button. On similar lines, if you wish to change the prices of them at a later time, instead of editing one by one, we could have a checkbox beside each item which we would select and hit a modify button to modify all the ones selected.

2) I don't know the value addition in this: Since we have two snipes with the mirror service, why not let users add two separate prices for the regular server and another for the mirror?

The slightly (early) snipe from the first server would prevent manual snipers from getting to the next bid increment, and the 2nd one (with a higher amount) would override the manual sniper if possible... I dont know if I am making much sense, but I can see some goodness from it...

3) One other thing that I have noticed (I am a firefox user) is when you hit the edit / modify button, you have a give it a few seconds for the page to settle again, and if your cursor was in the price box - hitting backspace instead of deleting characters, takes you to the previous page if you happen to be in that time window... since when the page "settles" the cursor position is moved....

4) May be someone has mentioned this before - what is the way to refresh the page? I normally move to the mirror tab and then come back to the regular tab.

5) Have the input row both at top and bottom Smile (when your list is looong).

6) A disable/enable (ON/OFF with default being ON) button for the each of the rows? Sometimes you are not sure if you want to bid, but deleting the item would mean you have to find it / add it back....

This has been proposed many times; I yet have to find some time to implement it.

It has no real advantage really... As ebay uses proxy bidding, you can enter the highest bid on both servers right away.

I have no idea how to fix that Sad.

Try clicking on "Add" with all fields empty.

You can select position of input fields on the Gixen settings page.

Gixen is not supposed to be an auction management tool (at least not yet) - rather use My eBay for this and enter only auctions you wish to snipe.

I would love to have it! If I were to ask for only one enhancement, this would be it Smile (atleast as of now).

Would changing your bid to $0.00 work? You would still "bid", but you wouldn't have a chance of winning, so it would accomplish the same thing?

mario, I am a new user, but looking around, I am very impressed. If my "test" snipes go well, I plan to subscribe. It looks like you have a great product at an even greater price.

Thank you. As for 0.00 (or any price smaller than current bid), yes, that will work, but such a snipe will nevertheless be gone 48 hours after auction end.
