If you can provide more details of the failure we might be able to provide a broader view. Details like the auction number, the amount of your bid and the status that Gixen provided for the auction once it had completed.
However, here are my thoughts from what you have already said:
That is what a Mirror subscription here on Gixen gives you... or are you saying that you have that and that it failed on both servers?... Technically, that is of course possible but very unlikely and if the case you were very unlucky in this instance.
Also if it was a grouped snipe then that is not mirrored anyway, since the items in the group, almost by definition, are replaceable with one another (you only wanted to win one of them anyway), so this is not considered as significant as an indendant snipe, which is sent from both servers.
Not having a mirror subscription here on Gixen, and using another free sniping site to duplicate the bids is IMHO a waste of your time, it might work but, unless you really undervalue your own time, a price of $6 a year for a mirror subscription would seem a far better investment than duplicating the input of all your snipes on two different services. _________________ Mark |
