If everyone sniped, I still would, it doesnt make any difference to me, the advantage is in effectively sealing my bid so that no one else knows what it is.
If eBay introduced sealed bidding (and by that i aditionally mean not allowing anyone, including the seller, knowing that I had even placed one) then I would stop sniping, but it is not very likely is it?
I think its unlikely to rise anywhere near the total number of eBay bids, in any case, if it was going to rise to that level then it would be much higher than it is now. I've been on eBay for nine years now (I think) and the amount of sniping has increased over that time, but not significantly, not set against the rise in users anyway. _________________ Mark |
