|

Damn! Gixen is bad for me because......
With it... I had to spend more money.... buying stuff I wouldn't bid on myslef at 4AM in the morning!
I'm a bidder who always bid on the last 30 seconds, knowing it would be most economical that way. Therefore, I keep forgetting the dateline of bids and missed many items.
But with Gixen, every thing has change, I can put last minute bid all the time.
With every interesting item I see that has low current bid, I start putting bids on them.
Now, I spend more (and won more) on Ebay than ever!
Damnnnn! I'm a shopaholic now! |

I'm a Mirror user now.... (it cost just 1 backlink!)
... and I make anywhere from 10-30 snipes in any given time
It it cost me so much more than before when I rarely make any bids on Ebay!
Anyone becoming more shopaholic lately? |

My Ebay star is rising, my pockets are empty and I had to become a Paypal member to keep on going. After a week of trying Gixen, I became a payed member and got addicted. Now I use my spare time to put snipes in Gixen, and laugh out loud when I snipe out the members that are watching there screen and see that just before they can respond someone else gets their item. |

Okay, Gixen is so good I almost feel sorry for some of the folks I've sniped. ALMOST. But it is addicting and I must watch how much I spend because it's more of fire and forget buying program. Thanks. You want something on EBay? Use Gixen, you'll get it. |

Started using ebay.co.uk to buy stufff, 8 hr time difference meant too many AM closing times.
For a few weeks keep getting outbid in the last minute. Discovered Gixen, became a mirror member after a couple of weeks, and kept using Gixen to win items at reasonable prices. Set max price, use FF + greasemonkey script to set max price and forget, until email comes through say you won item.
Thanks for great service even if it does mean I buy a lot more. |

I see you implemented the option to submit your bid with an option for several lead times. I am glad our discussion of soooo long ago resulted in the feature being added. Your service really clobbers the other snipe providers. I don't do as much of the ebay bidding as I use to do but its nice to know that some things don't change except for the better. Your service is really the exception to the rule. Thanks for the lead time option and all the other super improvements I currently see you have implemented, now that I have started sniping again. Even if I am sniping against one of your other users....the challange to see who has used the more effective strategy to get the bid is as interesting and exciting as winning the bid. The thrill is in the contest because there will always be more options to bid again on an item you may have missed. You just have to be patient and persistant. Kudos...to you.

The script that uses Greasemonkey adds a link to every eBay auction page for you to select in order to add a snipe to Gixen for that item. _________________ Mark |
