Trying to move across to the new eBay set up but no luck. Every time I try I get the 'too many people, try again in 60 minutes'. Been trying for the last 12 hours or so. Any ideas?

Love Gixen, paid for the service but this is a bit frustrating.

So I attempt to log into Gixen.net with my eBay user details and that tells me this has changed (fine).

It tells me to create an account which I do, and then tells me to log into eBay. Go through to eBay and then after trying to activate it tells me it's too busy and to try again in 60 minutes.

Any ideas?

Please try again, then email me and include username you tried to register. I turned on some additional logging to see what is happening.

I just tried again (twice) with another of my accounts, I'm still getting:

Error -1529. This means that too many users are trying to register at the same time. Please wait 20 minutes, then repeat the signup procedure from scratch.

on return here.

It's not an account I need to use so I'm not going to bother you via email about it... but my wife had the same with her account yesterday and isn't going to try again until I tell her the backlog is clearing.

My worry is that if we have two occurrences from the same household with this issue... how many thousands of Gixen users are experiencing the same, and not reporting it here or via email ?

OK,

I've managed to get the account I have been trying to get upgraded for the past couple of days through the conversion process, it has no snipes on it, at present, in any case, as I only use it occasionally. But I'm now ready to go with it when I do have some snipes that require to be placed via that account.

I'll let my wife know it's safe to try getting hers through again.
