Useful info from thebalancesmb.com/does-ebay-archive-auction-listings-1140140 :
ebay does keep the listing info forever!

FYI, Mario, eBay has become more aggressively anti-buyer lately.
E.g. it's no longer straightforward to open a SNAD case; the only way to do so is to "request" a return. (PLEASE, correct me if I'm wrong!)

Many ads on the site are more aggressively bait-and-switch; in particular, for a large but varying(!) fraction of variations listing, they will only list the price of the lowest-priced "variation"; previously, they always included the price range. (This only an issue for folks who sometimes buy-it-now, not folks who only snipe.)

I just noticed something I wonder is new: is one of those ways that they are keeping listings around for shorter amounts of time? Seems relevant, apropos ListingsHistory and whether its usefulness is changed by this ebay change.

ListingsHistory stopped collecting listings some time in mid-2017. It's still there with history of collectible (and Gixen-sniped) listings from 2014, 2015, 2016 and (some) 2017, but at some point it will likely shut down.

Interestingly, I see users still sign up on listingshistory, probably 10/day, but I don't see this as enough interest to keep investing in it.

I see now that I missed that 's' when the OP corrected the URL.

It's my aging eyes, Mark. :)

It has got an 's' in it John:

www.listingshistory.com

I suspect you are right though that there is a correspondence with the id you had registered when you set up the snipe and changing that id resets the history for that account.

Are you referring to the History available from your Gixen homepage? ListingHistory.com is not an active domain name.

I suspect that you're right and that your Gixen History will only show the history for snipes scheduled from the eBay account that your Gixen account is linked to (and so changing your eBay username will reset your History).
