when i kick off the Gixen Chrome extension it pops up the window with the correct item number then it immediately changes it to an old item number. have tried clearing cache, cookies, rebooting, etc but it keeps happening. every now and then it will do it correctly and I cannot figure out what is causing it. Anybody else seen this issue?

Just found out about this extension and I am trying it out. One issue so far:

While I remain logged into the Gixen site when I use the icon from the extension, it does not remember my preferred offset values for sniping - it always defaults to 6 seconds. Is this configurable?

Check username and password in settings or is a gixen issue, as autosnipe only sends item number default bid, username and password

Figure I post a video of the problem happening. Sorry for cropping it the way that I do, apparently the password to my gixen account is in plain text in the address bar. Ebay item number is 202700361501

Help on this being sought here:

Every time I try to use the "Add to Given" button next to the "Place bid" button, I have to add the item twice, because the first time I hit "Add", it kicks me to a slightly different page and I need to put in the desired price and snipe timer (to 3 seconds from 6). What's up with that?

I think that probably relates to Keith's business... I'm sure you don't want him to starve... he isn't employed by Mario.

Why does the extension page have this in the description? It looks very untrustworthy.

It is not clear to me what icon it is that you are clicking on, sorry.

This is an extension to the chrome browser, are you installing it from within that browser ?

The extension does nothing, I restarted chrome and computer but when I click on the icon nothing happens. Also no gixen button on ebay auctions.

Is it working?

I think others are having this problem too, when I click on the Gixen button while viewing a specific item I don't get the item number copied into the Gixen form that pops up.

Im getting this as well on a Mac, in both Chrome and Safari, OS Mojave 10.14.01

I hope this is fixable, It is such a useful feature!

Many thanks for all your hard work guys

Robert

Having the same issue on PC, just came to see if it was me being slow. Super excited about this feature! Thanks =)

I would really suggest developer to make sure this extension works before submitting it. I don't want to be a guinea pig and blow too much money on the bid by some error etc and then hear apologies.

PostPosted: Sun Nov 25, 2018 5:24 am    Post subject: Specifying Bid Amount

I am having the same problem. How do I enter my bid amount? The only place I can see to do that is in the setting page for the Chrome plugin, but that is just the default bid. How do I enter bid information when I select the "Add to Gixen" button on the eBay product page?

Hello,
I am pretty annoyed by this addon settings. Someone could explain why do I get the message "You have to specify maximum bid" ????
So do I have to change default settings each time before bid because it has to correspond to given ebay item?
I thought I will place the amount in bid window on ebay and press "add to gixen" and that will automatically add to my gixen account with that specific amount.
So how does it work then????????

Works great in Chrome. I had to reboot after installing it, but I think that had more to do with Windows updates.

Would really appreciate it if you can include the ability to add comments to the snipe, just like if you go through the main web page (and have that feature enabled).

hi,
the button appears on the item's page ok.
however, i'm asked to log on each time i click on the button (not good) and my defaults (offset) are not taken into acount.
i'm using firefox on ebay.fr site.
so i'll continue to cut&paste, it's not that bad
