OK,

Ultimately you are looking to get a new entry in the area you get to, on Ebay, by selecting the Account Tab/Menu -> Site Preferences and then selecting the Show link to the right of the Third-party authorisations option in the General Preferences preferences section.

When properly set it should say something like:

Mario Vodopivec (created dd-mmm-yy) - Gixen

with an option to revoke it.

This is the case both on Ebay.co.uk and Ebay.com.

I, for one, would be grateful if you did, because, from experience, I know that if one person has a problem... there is sure to be someone else that encounters the same issue at some point.

In fact you may not even be the first, perhaps you could try what Tasha suggested worked for her here:

Will do. I had actually tried what Tasha suggested before and it looked like it had worked but ultimately failed. I'll give it another go. Cheers.

Correct. I can login to .co.uk but not .com even if I log out of .co.uk first.

I'll have to contact eBay support I guess.

Thanks

Are you able to log in directly to https://www.ebay.co.uk/ but not https://www.ebay.com/ ?

No, Ebay accounts are universal...

If you can not log into any of their sites with the same credentials then you should contact Ebay support and ask why.

Note that your browser may store those account details separately for each site, so I recommend typing in your credentials in full from scratch at Ebay.

Thanks.
I'm obviously missing something because I cannot login to eBay.com as it does not accept my login details, presumably because they are the ones for .co.uk. Do I have to register for a new account at .com and loose my feedback and history?

Yes, I can confirm that what John said works...

I've always lived in the UK, my Ebay account is registered here, and I bid on the UK site.

Just link to ebay.com and, if you wish, set your country to the UK in your Gixen account settings.

Your eBay credentials will work across all eBay country-specific sites.

Hi. I've been using Gixen for years and it's been great. The new Gixen calls for linking Gixen to your eBay account but it only links to ebay.com and my account is with eBay.co.uk. Any solutions?
