There is NO "Snipe this item" icon as in the demo video, and every time I open ANY item on eBay, I get a series of pop-up windows asking for Username, offset times for server & mirror, mid amount and display as pop-up. In fact, the script places the link in each auction listing, so you don't even have to reach over to your toolbar to click it. Downloading and installing the Autosnipe script via the link provided will be much easier than copying someone's code, stripping it of extra spaces and getting it to work. Well, with the help of a friend on the Opera Forums--who is very good at UserJS-he was able to come up with a fix! The FireFox GreasMonkey Script for Gixen AutoSnipe will now work with the Opera Browser once modified! <br /> <br />I confirmed that the modified script works. A successful test meant that I had to be able to successfully accomplish 4 tasks just short of actually entering an autosnipe bid, but at a position to do so if I chose to continue. <br /> <br />Specifically: <br /> <br />1. I had to be able to logon to ebay (never a problem). <br />2. I had to be able to choose an item that was up for bids (again, never a problem) <br />3. The "extra" option "Snipe this item" had to be present (was the main problem & core to the script) & if so, it had to be clickable. I can confirm that this item now is present under "Watch This Item" & is clickable. <br />4. If all the above conditions are present & worked, the last part of my test was to click "Snipe this item" & be transferred to the Gixen AutoSnip Page/Screen awaiting my input. (which it now does!!) <img src="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0" /> <br /> <br />That was the extent of my test, & I have th highest confidence that if I chose to enter my information & send the completed form through the rest would complete as it should. <br /> <br />To me this was proof of a successful test. <br /> <br />The main problem consisted of having the "Snipe this item" present & once clicked, getting to the Gixen Autosnipe Page/Screen. <br /> <br />At first it seemed that this was going to be difficult, being that I have next to no--extremely little--Java Scripting knowledge. Being that everything I read on the Opera Forums said that "most" GreaseMonkey Scripts theoretically should work in Opera I felt there had to be an answer.
